ANTONIA is a (very) loose adaptation of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, if it took place on a college campus and was told from Antonio's point of view. Antonia is an aspiring poet and hopeless romantic who found herself with a nasty case of writer's block. That is until transfer student Sebastian arrives and she finds her new muse. ANTONIA is a story of growing pains, rewriting your own story, and a chaotic whirlwind or two.
What is R&D?
...Ours stands for Reading & Drinking!...
R&D is a free, informal gathering of artists invited to have a (totally optional) drink or two while volunteer performers read new works/ works-in-progress by independent playwrights. Past R&D pieces have ranged from short plays, one-acts, full lengths, to musical excerpts. Our free developmental reading series creates a laid-back environment for hearing pieces aloud while offering an opportunity for feedback.
Are you a playwright with a new/developing piece you wanna hear out loud (but aren't trying to drain your own resources $$$ to put up a reading on your own)? Let us do it! Submit your works here for consideration for an R&D session! All lengths and genres accepted.
