Step1 Theatre Project has chosen to sponsor The Audre Lorde Project for the run of WHO AM I, part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. As part of fundraising efforts, S1TP is hosting a 24-hour LGBTQ-themed play festival, in which a variety of artists will create short pieces. Come join S1TP and celebrate Pride the best way we know how: Creating art! In 24 hours, a group of dedicated playwrights, actors, and directors will create short plays about Identity and Labels. When the parade's over, come celebrate with us in Brooklyn! Proceeds will benefit The Audre Lorde Project: A non-profit organization dedicated to the LGBTQ people of color in the NYC area.
