S1TP & WHO AM I win 4 awards from Planet Connections!

Step1 Theatre Project's premiere production WHO AM I by Rodney Reyes closed on July 8th and has received 4 awards at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Awards Ceremony! 

Planet Activist Award: This award went to Step1 Theatre Project for hosting Who Are You?: A 24-Hour Pride Fest on Pride Weekend benefitting the Audre Lorde Project! Thank you to all who participated! 

Outstanding Choreography: This award went to Valerie Mae Browne, Founder and Artistic Director of American Liberty Ballet, for her choreography and featured dancers from her company!

Outstanding Featured Actress: This award went to Mary Sheridan for the role of Mother.

Outstanding Overall Production of a Revival: This award went to the entire cast & crew of our production!

(Michael Hagins was also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor for his performance as Marv, and the entire cast was also nominated for Outstanding Ensemble in a Play, Musical, or Evening of One-Acts!)
