In this revenge horror thriller, a blooming relationship reignites a lifetime rivalry between two women who have been pitted against each other since the day they met by class, culture, and gender expectations. Now as they are forced to meet again, they find themselves stalked by a violent Beast that means to destroy everything. Can they come to an understanding in time and team up to fight or will they fall prey to the Beast?

• All guests must be fully vaccinated (at least two weeks after your second dose in a two-shot series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as the J&J/Janssen vaccine). Boosters are not required but encouraged.
• All guests must wear a mask except while actively eating and drinking.
Pipeline for Development
Into the River I Went was presented at a 2019 session of R&D, Step1’s cold reading series.
Staged Readings are the second stage of development in Step1’s 3-season pipeline.
All plays featured at a past R&D session are eligible for a future staged reading, and all staged readings are eligible for a workshop production in a future season.
